USA: Tragic Collision in Wisconsin Claims Nine Lives in Highway Intersection Crash

Madison, USA: A tragic accident in central Wisconsin claimed nine lives and left one person injured when a semi-trailer truck collided with a van at the intersection of Highway 95 and County Road J in Dewhurst Township.

The crash occurred around 8 a.m. local time, with the van struck by the eastbound semi as it entered the intersection. The van’s driver and eight passengers, along with the semi-truck driver, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The lone survivor, a van passenger, was taken to a local hospital for injuries. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers expressed condolences, highlighting the sorrow caused by the incident and extending sympathy to the victims’ families and first responders. He wrote,

Kathy and I are saddened today by the fatal crash that occurred in Clark County, tragically taking nine lives.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of all those involved, as well as the first responders who worked quickly to provide support at the scene.
